Day One
4 – 4:45 pm
Arrive in Fairmont and check into a local hotel. Fairmont is perfect for a relaxing stopover on the way to your final destination.
4:45 – 7:15 pm
Board the bus for the “City of Lakes Tour”. Experience the beauty of Fairmont’s five tree-bordered fresh water lakes.
7:15 – 8:45 pm
Dine at one of Fairmont’s fine restaurants.
8:45 pm
Return to hotel for a good night sleep, with pleasant thoughts of a great day!
Day Two
6:45 – 7:30 am
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
7:30 – 9:30 am
Board the bus for a step back in time and explore the treasures from yesteryear, at the Pioneer Museum. Tour the Historic 101-year-old Opera House – and stroll through Fairmont’s Downtown Plaza where you’ll find specialty shops.
9:30 – 10:30 am
Before you go, tour Heritage Acres, an Agricultural Interpretive Center located on the west shore of Lake Sisseton. Experience the heritage of past Midwest farms.
10:30 am
Head for home with a snack and enjoy your ride to your original destination.
